7th June 2023

A further hearing was held on the today at Oxford Crown Court. A trial has been fixed for the 30th September 2024, with an estimated length of 8 weeks. The trial will take place at Oxford Crown Court.

The prosecution counsel instructed are James Norman and Chloe Hucker from 5 Paper Buildings, London.

April 2023

A further hearing was held on the 27th April at Oxford Crown Court. This hearing discussed the timetable for moving forward within the court process.

The next hearing date is the 7th June 2023.

March 2023

Neil Stafford's first court hearing has now taken place, 28th March 2023, and as expected the case has been assigned to Oxford Crown Court. The next hearing, a pre-trial preparation hearing, will take place on the 27th April 2023. At this time, Stafford has entered a not guilty plea, no surprise there. The time will come for witnesses to be called to give evidence in court, then the pack of lies will be unravelled.

February 2023

It has been a long time coming, but some good news to the victims of Neil Staffraud.

Confirmation has been received that the Crown Prosection Service, CPS, have now charged Neil for Fraud by False Representation on 6 occasions related to their ongoing enquiry. The first court hearing will be at Oxford Magistrates Court on the 28th March 2023 where the case will most likely be assigned to Oxford Crown Court. This information is available publically on various websites including courtserve.net should you be interested.

This is excellent news for those involved, we will get our day(s) in court, watch this space for new info.

Confirmation received from Thames Valley police that they are continuing with the investigation.

Neil has been spotted in the Henley on Thames area over the recent Bank Holiday weekend. Apparently he is in the market for buying a boat, again, all talk no action and no money of his own.

Information received below on Neil and his true background. If you want to catch up with Neil try Spennithorne, North Yorkshire, UK. It is nice and close to the A1(M) so makes an easy location to visit whilst passing. There is a very pleasant public house nearby, with rooms, called the Sandpiper Inn.

I can tell you Harold, the father (recently deceased Feb 2017 obituary), wasn't a farmer, he was a joiner and kitchen fitter - a trade (brother) Jamie went into. Neil worked at a pig farm local to Sykehouse / Fishlake / Hatfield area in Doncaster; there was some amount of dissatisfaction about wages and the workers staged a strike, Neil sided with the owner and continued to work and was rewarded with a managerial position. Jamie told us after this Neil started a pharmaceutical company importing or licencing drugs and that he had become very successful. I didnt understand how someone without specific experience could manage to find such a lucrative niche and got no real explanation; we were all in thrall to the stories of big homes and Porsche cars. Harolds business hit the skids and it was Jamie who kept him afloat which seemed a bit off with his brother being a 'millionaire' and all. Jamie and his family stayed with him at a home in Spennithorne in North Yorkshire, I've read some of the pdf downloads of Neils claims and to be honest they are so far out of reality Neil must be very persuasive in person ( a complete liar).

Harold, the dad, had left his mum for a younger woman (Verita) and his mum moved to Wolverhampton to manage a care home; Harold lived with Verita (a youth worker) and Jimmy had to work very long hours to prevent the family home in Hatfield being repossessed. Neil looks to have got away with these confidence scams for 20 years and must have fleeced millions,

Latest news is that Neil may now be masquerading as Neil Hussey with Oxford Capital Funding facilitating his fraudulent activity, and he possibly has been doing this for the last 18 months. This has yet to be proven however there is a strong possibility that Neil Hussey is the same Neil Stafford. Anyone with further details or experiences of dealing with either of these 2 entities should make contact with the Police or via this site.

Oxford Capital Funding has limited web presence, however the details from the link show similar examples of Neils illiteracy. There is reference to contacts in Miami and New York, be aware and send in any information you have of his whereabouts. Herbert Caswell is a US based contact who has links with this entity and Neil.

New comment added to the blog by Anon, it appears that Claridges has been swapped for the Connaught Hotel. I am sure the General Manager of the Connaught, Max Binda is aware of Neils charecteristics and track record. Next time, please take a picture and send it in for the gallery.

Today another person has been arrested and released on bail whilst further investigations are carried out in Neil and his activities. It is not looking to be a Merry Christmas or good New Year for Neil and other individuals who appear to be involved with his pretensions, which is great for us victims to reflect on.

Bail hearing moved to February 2016, no reason given as to the cause for the change in date. Police have confirmed they are continuing with their investigation and are interviewing other persons with regard to the investigation into Neil and his activities.

Latest update is that Thames Valley Police have arrested 2 more suspects regarding this investigation, they are currently on Police bail. All of the suspects are due to answer bail again in December of this year.

The evidence gathering process continues, Neil remains on Police Bail. He attended an interview with the Police yesterday with a further interview planned for later in the year. He has not repaid any of the funds that he extracted from people / businesses.

Another person has come forward via email this morning who has been defrauded by Neil Stafford. This was reported to Action Fraud and the person has been in contact with Thames Valley Police over several months.

Here is a small part of the statement from the victims email:

Please don't let his family off the hook.  They have shared in lavish lifestyle of having regular Michelin star restaurant meals, gifts. For instance his daughter celebrated her 21st Birthday in London with five of her closet friends at the exclusive Scotch (Scotts sic) Club in Mayfair and many more! All courtesy of his victims.

If you have further information get in contact with DS Duncan Wynn. 

We all know that Neil Stafford is vermin, he will be dealt with in an appropriate manner and he will pay the consequence along with people who chose to follow his greedy path stealing from people and families whose trust he lied to create.

Who knows what else will appear from Neil's shady world, is there no limit to the level of deception that he will go to achieve his aim.

A comment from the blog had to be removed after the subject person made contact asking for her name and Facebook link to be taken off. We all know what Neil has been up to and the levels he will go to satisfy his insecurities about himself. We need to make sure the people he has hurt are not themselves attacked. We have all been defrauded in one way or another by Neil. Whether that is financially, emotionally, romantically or any other way. Even his family have been conned, imagine having a Father / Husband or brother like Neil, we would all disown him! His time is marked, so please make sure the comments are aimed at Neil and his activities.
